Certificate Conflict Management
Course
description
This
programme aims to help learners to protect themselves and work
colleagues by examining violence in the workplace and how to take
practical steps to prevent or minimise its incidence and impact.
It adopts a preventative approach to violence utilising awareness
and calming techniques without resort to self-defence or personal
contact.
This
level 2 course explains the circumstances in which aggression and
violence can occur and emphasises the importance of communication
in the preventative approach to conflict management. It goes on to
highlight the law in terms of the individual and the organisation
and is therefore suitable for anyone, whether it be a learner in a
workplace or at home.
