Course Outline
Any work-related activity that involves the movement, storage, ordering or receiving of goods within specific time constraints can be viewed as a logistics activity. This course is designed for those who wish to develop their knowledge of the logistics industry.

Course Content
The course consists of four units covering:

  • Logistics in the business world
  • Logistics operating environment
  • Information technology and communication skills in logistics
  • Health and safety in the logistics operating environment

Progression Opportunities
There are numerous progression opportunities, including NVQs in Distribution and Warehousing Operations, Road Haulage and Distribution, Sales Delivery and Retail Operations. Additional progression opportunities are the Institute of Logistics and
Transport Certificate and Diploma.

Duration
 The course is structured over  15 week programme that is delivered by a qualified facilitator in the workplace. Where appropriate it can be completed in a much shorter period.

You can join a scheduled course with the Inspired Training Company at a location and time that best suits your needs.
