Course Outline

Marketing is one of the major central and controlling functions in any business. The aim of this award is to help learners gain competencies in the application and analysis of marketing practices. The qualification is ideal for learners working in the hospitality industry, either full or part-time, who wish to make a positive contribution to the marketing of their organisation

Course Content

The course consists of four units:

  • The principles of successful marketing
  • The role of marketing within an organisation
  • Define marketing focus
  • Apply marketing techniques

  • Prepare a marketing plan

Progression Opportunities
Candidates can progress to a range of programmes including: Certificate in Marketing, Diploma in Marketing, Diploma in eMarketing and NVQ in Marketing Communications.

Duration
The course is structured over  15 week programme that is delivered by a qualified facilitator in the workplace. Where appropriate it can be completed in a much shorter period.

Dates & Venues
You can join a scheduled course with the Inspired Training Company at a location and time that best suits your needs. Larger groups or companies may wish to host their own course at their premises or another venue at time and location more suitable to their particular needs.
