Introduction
to Fire Safety in Social Care
Everyone working in a health or care environment needs to be
aware of how to prevent fires and their role and responsibilities
in the event of an alarm. The risks are reduced through Training
and following good practice guidelines. This course is designed to
provide guidance on ways of working to prevent fires and actions
to be taken on discovering a fire. The content meets much of the
Skills for Care knowledge set for Fire Safety and the requirements
regarding Fire Safety in the common induction standards.
Outcomes
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
