Introduction to
Drug Awareness in Social Care
Foundation

This course is offered as a short course. It raises awareness of the drugs that are part of everyday life and also explores the causes and consequences of substance and alcohol abuse and the effects on individuals and those around them. The course is suitable for anyone who would benefit from learning more about drugs in today’s society.

  • Understand drug use/misuse

  • Recognise and respond to drug use/misuse

  • Communicate with young people about drugs

Duration
 The course lasts approximately four hours.

Dates & Venues
 You can join a scheduled course with Inspired Training at a location and time that best suits your needs. Larger groups or companies may wish to host their own course at their premises or another venue at time and location more suitable to their particular needs.
